Library

The Fondazione Giuseppe Di Vittorio Library has a collection of over 7,000 books and monographs, including newspapers and grey literature. Its mission is the preservation, enhancement and management of library materials, documents and archives. It has a series of books on the history of the workers’ movement in Italy and Europe, specialist research publications dealing with the issues of Economics, Welfare, Employment and Training, Industrial Relations and Working Conditions, Specialized Training and the Training of Trainers.

Following the gradual unification of previous Confederation institutions (Associazione Bruno Trentin, Ires, Isf, Smile), other books and materials have enriched the Foundation’s book collection.

The library is part of the National Library System (SBN) (Cultural Institutes of Rome - IEI). The library code is RM1239. The contact person for the Library is Fabiana Lippa.

The Library is open to the public at the following times:

  • Tuesday, 9:00 to 15:00
  • Wednesday, 9:00 to 15:00
